Future is here to tell us that he is the king of sing-rap blues on his newest mixtape BEASTMODE 2. Produced entirely by Zaytoven, the mixtape serves as the sequel to Beast Mode, which was released in 2015. Zaytoven told The Fader that the duo recorded about 100 songs between 2016-2018, but cut down the number of songs for the mixtape to 9. Future talks about a wide variety of things on his tracks, from his consistent drug usage to the incident that coined the phrase “I’m good luv, enjoy” which we have all seen over the internet. He really hits home with this mixtape and gets very personal, which is what hip-hop is all about. BEASTMODE 2 is Future’s way of reminding us that he can release lit tracks easily, and that he is one of the biggest names in hip-hop.
