Beautiful People feat. Khalid
– Feels like Summer when I hear this song, I want to dance
– Since Khalid is featured on this track it sounds a bit more pop than Sheeran’s songs usually are
– Khalid comes in at 1:45, he slows down the song with the melody but the beat stays consistent

South of the Border feat. Camila Cabello and Cardi B
– It is no surprise that the beat is like that of a Latino pop song
– He is speaking English but comes in with Spanish saying “Te amo mami”
– Camila Cabello comes in with English and then Spanish including the “Te amo mami” line from before
– Her lyrics bring another side to the story, contradicting Sheeran’s lyrics
– Cardi B comes in rapping in English

Cross Me feat. Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock
– Song starts with PnB Rock
– I got EDM vibes from the beat change before Sheeran comes
– Sounds similar to The Weeknd, the mood of the song is dark but upbeat
– PnB Rock comes back at 1:00 with Sheeran
– At 1:40 Chance the Rapper comes in, then a PnB Rock transition to Sheeran
– This song is the Mezz team favorite!

Take Me Back to London feat. Stormzy
– Sheeran opens the song and starts to rap giving you a serious tone from the start
– There is a serious tone to the lyrics and mood of the song
– Both of the artists are from London and talk about the classic “London achievements” like playing Glasgow and winning a Brit Award

Best Part of Me feat. YEBBA
– This is the first slow song from the album, it’s about the insecurities of love
– YEBBA comes in with the honest truth, she is worried about all these small things but is especially worried about how she could be loved
– Sheeran and YEBBA harmonize beautifully together

I Don’t Care with Justin Bieber
– Obviously a catchy pop song that is perfect for a Summer party
– Justin Bieber comes in with a bright voice
– They sing together for a bit before the beat changes and Bieber comes back in
– This song really is about not caring, not caring as long as you’re with the one you love

Antisocial with Travis Scott
– Sounds like a Travis Scott song with the autotune background sounds; “YEAH”, “O”, AND “STRAIGHT UP”
– This is definitely not the usual for Sheeran, but it is nice to hear him out of his comfort zone rapping over Scott’s sound
– Travis Scott comes in rapping slowly over a fast beat
– This song is my personal favorite!

Remember the Name feat. Eminem and 50 Cent
– Starts with Sheeran, sounds like his classic pop/rap combination
– Sheeran name drops Eminen and 50 Cent
– 50 Cent is first heard in the chorus with Sheeran
– Eminem comes in rapping about how he came up in his career
– He also name drops Sheeran
– 50 Cent comes in rapping and adds the iconic line “I dress so fresh so clean”
– All 3 of them come together for the last minute of the song working off each other to create the perfect chant for remembrance

Feels feat. Young Thug and J Hus
– This smooth pop and r&b song starts off with Sheeran
– Young Thug comes in rapping
– J hus, a London rapper, comes in at 1:40
– Beat change up towards end, sound echo-y and a bit like EDM
– Like most of the other tracks off this album, it is about a girl but this time about a girl they want

Put It All On Me feat. Ella Mai
– Throughout this song Sheeran is singing in falsetto
– You hear Ella Mai for the first time at 1:30 and her solo begins
– They have really nice harmonies through the song and their voices sound good together

Nothing On You feat. Paulo Londra and Dave
– This song gives me major matrix vibes, it sounds op but is not classic Sheeran
– Paulo Londra comes in speaking Spanish about just living life and hanging out
– Song goes back to Sheeran falsetto before Dave comes in with a hard rap on bragging without being too cocky

I Don’t Want Your Money feat. H.E.R.
– The intro is H.E.R. for about two seconds
– The guitar sounds crazy good with a nice beat.
– H.E.R. comes in for a solo and is heard again with Sheeran through to the end
– This collaboration reminds me of powerhouse duo like Beyonce and Jay-Z
– Sheeran and H.E.R. push it to the edge with their attitudes showing through their lyrics and sound

Way To Break My Heart feat. Skrillex
– This is the ultimate “Summer chill vibes” that everyone is looking for in a song
– Skrillex doing background vocals throughout the song
– For some reason the beat of this song sounds like a ringtone, like a continuous loop
– It’s not a bad ringtone, just something that reminds me of a ringtone. I like that the sound is familiar but is not something you are used to hearing in a song.
