Last week, the movie Rocketman, was released. Rocketman follows Elton John as he went from experimenting on the piano to an expert on the piano. The movie goes through Johns experiences as a child to his midlife and onto his adult life.

The lead actor playing John, Taron Egerton, is sitting in a group therapy room telling his story, allowing us to get a chronological order of how John’s life played out.

After months of working together John decided he wanted to do a song with Taron Egerton — the perks of releasing a biographical movie. The song done by the duo is titled (I’m Gonna) Love Me Again and can be found in the closing credits of Rocketman.

The most important aspect of the film for John was to get the music right. Putting all of his trust in Egerton and producer, Giles Martin, John left the two to put together something special. John wanted to put the audience in awe from the lyrics of Bernie Taupin and the acting of Egerton.

Songs done in the film by Egerton are the following:
The Bitch is Back
I Want Love
Saturday Nights Alright (For Fighting)
Thank You For All Your Loving
Border Song
Rock And Roll Madonna
Your Song
Amoreena
Crocodile Rock
Tiny Dancer
Take Me To The Pilot
Hercules
Don’t Go Breaking My Heart
Honky Cat
Pinball Wizard
Rocket Man
Bennie And The Jets
Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me
Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
I’m Still Standing
(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again

If you like the biography and fantasy feels from the film Bohemian Rhapsody, you will enjoy this movie.

Kudos John, glad to see retirement is productive.
